After six days of rain Pharoah couldn't wait

After six straight days of rain which meant not being able to go outside, Pharoah couldn't wait to take up his official position of lookout on the front balcony.

That silly cat likes to watch all the people walking or cycling or driving by in the street. He also likes to talk to our neighbor downstairs when she comes out on her patio.

I don't know why he doesn't just stay curled up on the daybed in our human's office all day like I do!

My lazy pal Pharoah

I know Pharoah loves his little bed in the bedroom closet, but really, still in bed at 10:00 on a Saturday morning? It's too much, leaving me with all the Saturday morning chores like eating breakfast, washing and finding the sunny spots to spread out in.

Come on Pharoah, time to rise and shine!

Cats like to help with the laundry

Do NOT try this at home!

As a domesticated cat (and proud of it) I like to help my human with the laundry from time to time. But before you do, make sure you know what you are doing. You don't want to be trapped in the laundry hamper or dryer (or worse yet, go for a spin) for hours.

My advice is to look cute just long enough for your human to grab her/his camera, then jump out. Or emit a loud meow if she or he doesn't notice you before slamming the door in your face.

Note to humans: NEVER put your pet in a dangerous situation as some of us don't know the difference. In this instance I jumped in the hamper and dryer myself, but my human would never think of placing me in there herself.
